What we sell
Green coffee only. Robusta in the standard export grades — Screen 18, 17, 15 and 12, BHP and washed or specialty lots — and Arabica as Bugisu AA and A, Drugar and Wugar and Rwenzori lots. Every published lot carries measured moisture, defects and screen retention; cup data comes from cupping reports.
Minimums and quantities
A 20 ft container (320 bags × 60 kg = 19.2 tonnes) is the standard unit for commercial buyers. Specialty roasters typically buy pallet quantities of 10–20 bags, either consolidated FOB Mombasa by their importer or delivered through an importer partner in their market. Tell us the quantity you need and where it is going; we will say plainly whether and how it is workable rather than quote a minimum that does not fit your business.
Buying at origin versus buying from an importer
Buying directly from origin gives you the coffee at FOB price, control over specification and lot selection, and a relationship with the people who prepare the coffee. It also means you (or your forwarder) handle ocean freight, insurance, import clearance, duty where applicable and inland delivery, and you carry the coffee for four to eight weeks on the water. An importer in your country prices the same coffee landed and warehoused, spot or forward, in smaller quantities, and absorbs those tasks for a margin. Many roasters do both: containers direct for core grades, pallets through an importer for smaller or specialty positions. We are happy to ship FOB to your importer's consolidation or to work with importer partners where you need delivered coffee.
How pricing works
Robusta is priced as a differential to the London (ICE Europe) Robusta futures contract and Arabica against the New York (ICE) Arabica “C” contract, FOB Mombasa, for a stated shipment month. Specialty lots may be priced outright. Quotes state price basis, Incoterm, shipment window, payment terms and the documents included. We do not publish live prices.
Payment terms
New relationships in the Uganda trade normally work on a documentary letter of credit at sight or on telegraphic transfer with a deposit and the balance against shipping documents. Cash against documents and open-account terms follow an established relationship. We confirm the terms we can offer when we quote.
By market
United States. Green coffee enters duty-free; the shipper must hold FDA food facility registration and the importer's broker files FDA prior notice. Routing via the US East Coast takes roughly 28–35 days from Mombasa. Read importing to the United States.
United Kingdom. Zero customs duty on green coffee; import VAT applies as for food; the importer needs an EORI number. Routing via Felixstowe or London Gateway takes four to five weeks. Read importing to the UK.
European Union. Zero duty; the EU Deforestation Regulation applies to coffee placed on the market from 30 December 2026 (large and medium operators). Antwerp is Europe's principal green coffee port; Hamburg, Trieste and Genoa also receive Uganda coffee. Read the EUDR page.
Gulf and re-export markets. Dubai and Jebel Ali receive Uganda coffee for the Gulf and for re-export; transit is short and documents standard.
Australia and Canada. Reachable via trans-shipment; both markets' specialty roasters buy Uganda Arabica and fine Robusta in pallet quantities through importers.

Frequently asked questions
Do you sell roasted coffee?
No. We supply green (unroasted) coffee to businesses that roast, trade or manufacture. We do not sell to consumers.
What is your minimum order?
Containers (19.2 t) are standard for commercial grades. Pallet quantities of 10–20 bags are workable for specialty lots, usually via an importer consolidation or importer partner. Tell us your quantity and destination and we will confirm.
Can you ship to my importer's consolidation?
Yes. Many roasters ask us to ship FOB Mombasa to their importer, who handles freight and clearance and delivers the pallet to the roastery.
Do you offer landed or delivered prices?
Our standard offer is FOB Mombasa. We can quote CFR or CIF to your port on request, and for some markets can arrange delivered coffee through importer partners.
How quickly can you ship?
For a lot already graded and available, a container can typically be prepared and shipped within two to four weeks of contract and PSS approval, subject to vessel schedules from Mombasa. Fresh-crop shipments follow the harvest calendar.
Are your coffees certified organic or Rainforest Alliance?
We state certification only for lots where a valid certificate number is on file, and none is claimed on this site unless a lot page says so. Uganda has certified groups; ask if you need certified supply and we will tell you what is available.
